Lisa at Star Cakes Bakery made our wedding cake for 10/10/2020. We met her at a wedding expo and had a beautifully set up tasting and consultation at her storefront. We met with two other local bakeries and chose Lisa because of her professionalism and skill. She was between the other two bakeries in cost. After our initial meeting, all communication was done through email (my preferred method). Everything from Lisa was clearly stated and done in a kind and professional way. When COVID hit, Lisa was absolutely incredible in working with us to modify our order. She went above and beyond to make our experience easy and stress-free. We had an out of town event and she packaged our cakes with care to make the trip. Everything traveled beautifully and the cakes were stunning and delicious. Star Cakes made an amazing custom cake for my wife's surprise 40th birthday party. The cake and cupcakes were a huge hit and initially no one wanted to cut into it because it was cool to look at. Both the cake and cupcakes tasted amazing. Star Cakes! You did a great job, easy to work with (all over email trying to be discrete for the surprise) and reasonable on price. We loved it and will see you again in the near future!

My mom got me a dozen of your cupcakes for Christmas since she lives in California, and we couldn’t spend Christmas together. I just had the Salted Caramel, and OMG, it was soooooo good!!!!!! I am usually a red velvet cake fan, but that salted caramel is like curl your toes, drool inducing, who am I, good. If you want to question your existence, try these cupcakes. Merry Christmas!
